Academic Hub OK’d

Fort Wayne, IND – Planners approved a $15.7 million academic center on the Indiana Tech campus. The 66,000-square-foot building is the college’s attempt to address increasing enrollment.

The school announced the project last summer.

The center will provide more classrooms and faculty offices college officials say are necessary as Indiana Tech attracts more students and full-time faculty.

The center would have two wings – academic and library sections – connected by a rotunda with a multipurpose auditorium and theater, officials said.
